Bondel

The Missionary Children Association Training programme was held at St Lawrence Church, Bondel on 6th Febraury 2022. The training  began with a prayer song, Rev. Fr Rupesh Tauro, Diocesan Director, Pontifical Mission Organizations through ppt presentation gave more information about MCA to the children who gathered in big numbers.

The Missionary Children Association was founded in France in 1843 by Bishop Charles de Forbin Janson. Its Motto, “Children Helping Children” awakens the Missionary Spirit of prayer and generous sacrifice in all the children of the world, leading them to share both spiritual and material resources.

MCA members will be encouraged to pray daily and develop a strong relationship with God. They will learn the importance of praying for our brothers and sisters in countries all over the world. We are one family on a mission!

Rev Fr Andrew Leo D'Souza Parish Priest gave a few words of inspiration to all the kids ,The motto -“children helping children.” children in the missions may know Christ and experience His love and care.

Mrs Philomena Pinto compared the programme. Sr Leticia PDDM welcomed everyone present and invited the dignitaries to take their seats on the dias.Rev Fr Andrew Leo D'Souza, Rev. Fr Rupesh Tauro, Rev Fr Peter Gonsalves, Mr Reginald D'Souza Mrs Celestine D'Souza were present. Mrs Shiney Monteiro proposed the vote of thanks.
